Total No.of Posts: 02
Name of the Post: Group – ‘D’ (Erstwhile)

Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18 to 33 years as on 01-01-2014.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess 10th pass or ITI or Equivalent, A President’s Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test, personality test/ interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.100/- drawn in favour of the Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, South Central Railway, Vijayawada-520001 & for the candidates belonging to SC/ ST Communities, Woman, Minority community & Economically Backward classes are exempted from the payment of fee.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in a given format with attested copies of application fee, DOB Certificate, Educational/ Technical qualifications, Caste certificate issued by competent authority in the prescribed format if he/ she belong to SC/ ST or OBC, Minority communities, Creamy Layer declaration also to be enclosed to caste certificates of OBC, Certificates in support of Scouting and also continued to be active in the same, Income Certificates for Economically backward candidates. The applications filled either in English or in Hindi in all respects along with its enclosures duly attested by Gazetted Officer, should sent by ordinary post only in a cover addressed to the “Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, South Central Railway, Vijayawada-520001, duly mentioning on the cover as “Application for erstwhile Group ’D’ post against Scouts & Guides quota “ on or before 20-01-2014 & for candidates of Remote areas like Andaman & Nicobar , Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura etc should send on or before 03-02-2014.

Age Limit: Candidates age should be 18 years to 30 years for UR and 18 years to 33 years for OBC and 18 years to 35 years for SC/ ST as on 01-01-2014. Age Relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Ex-Servicemen/ Widow candidates.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have SSC with ITI in relevant trade for technical and SSC with 50% marks in aggregate and type writing proficiency of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi and have been an active member of a scouts Organization for atleast 3 years.

Selection Procedure: Candidates are selected based on written test & personal/ interview.

Application Fee: Candidates have to take IPO/ Demand Draft for Rs.40/- for general in favour of FA & CAO, South Central Railway payable at Secunderabad/ Hyderabad and No fee for SC/ ST/ Minority/ Women candidates.
