Name of the Posts:
1. Research Associate: 01 post
2. Project Biologists: 02 posts
3. Project Sociologist: 01 post
4. Junior Research Fellow: 04 posts
5. Senior Research Fellow: 01 post
6. Senior Project Associates: 02 posts

Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit for post No.1 is below 40 years, 28 years for the posts No.2,3& 4, 32 years for the post No.5& 6 as on 30-09-2013. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Ph.D Degree in Zoology/ Life Science/ Botany/ Wildlife Science from a recognized University for the post No.1, Masters’Degree in Zoology/ Botany/ Life Science/ Wildlife Science/ Forestry/ Environ-mental Science/ Social Sciences with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University for the post No.2 & 3, Masters Degree in Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Botany/ Life Science/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University for the post No.4, Masters Degree in Life Sciences with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University with two year post M.Sc. research/ teaching experience for the post No.5, Masters’ Degree in Wildlife Science/ Forestry/ Life Science/ Biological Science with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized university for the post No.6.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in Interview.

How to Apply: Interested candidates can attend for walk in interview along with filled in application form in the prescribed format, original and attested copies of all relevant testimonials held at the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun on 04-10-2013 at 09:00 AM, Candidates should bring the duly filled-in applications with attested true copies of testimonials of educational qualifications, research experience, extra curricular activities, date of birth etc.,along with copies of mark sheets of all examinations.
